EVERYDAY
I used InDesign to create a publication which showcased a collection of illustrations and short stories based on the theme of “Everyday”, illustrated and written by MA Illustration and BA (Hons) Creative Writing students. In my role as the Editor, I planned the flow of content and created a traditional and consistent design layout, to allow the illustrations and writing to be the focus of attention. I created this during my MA Graphic Design degree.
A book about what it's like being a British-Bengali Muslim girl.
During my BA(Hons) Illustration degree, I used autoethnographic research to explore my minority ethnic identity as a British-Bengali Muslim girl. I designed a book which is a collection of personal essays about juggling my South Asian and Islamic values, concrete poetry, conceptual design, collage and print-making.
